Beautiful Property. Very attentative and friendly staff, in particular in the restaurant, very personalized service, even remembering the name of the guest. outstanding housekeeping, paying attention to details. Turndown service was top. Room decoration and marble bathrooms were very nice. Excellent cocktails and very nice atmosphere in the bar, both inside and outside. Breakfast was excellent, the breakfast buffet - both the selection, the quality and the presentation - was amongst the best I have ever seen.

Flawless location, building, service and comfort from start to finish. Hospitality clearly runs in the Forte family blood and this hotel is no exception. Villa Igiea is grand, luxurious and extremely comfortable but relaxed and neither intimidating or pretentious and seems to attract a clientele that appreciates that. Let's call it quiet luxury! I couldn't recommend it more highly.

To live a few days, out of time, in a historical hotel (liberty style), on the seaside, with a whole team dedicated to excellence, is a dream that you can live at Villa Igiea. A little away from the (too?) busy historical center of the city, you can enjoy a magnificent view, hear the birds and the waves from the garden. The rooms are absolutely quiet for a good night's rest. The superb breakfast in front of the beautiful garden is irresistibly appealing. Don't miss the bar and restaurant. You can feel that everything is done to make your stay very pleasant and it works.

We were upgraded to a fantastic suite with an endlos big terrace and wonderful view. The breakfast is generous, a really treat in a super pleasant environment. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We spent 3 nights in the hotel because of work, but we have decided to spend hier once our holiday in spring or summer.

Exceptional stay at most likely the best 5+ star hotel in Sicily. Service was faultless and impeccable for the three nights of our stay. Concierge assisted promptly when my wife needed a doctor - she was seen within the hour. Room and bed was beyond comfortable and large. Excellent en-suite. The bar is gorgeous and the food at Florio, the hotel restaurant, superb. The grounds and pool are even better than they look in the photographs. Something to note, the hotel is located near Mount Pellegrino, and so is about 20 minutes out of the centre of Palermo (this is a good thing!). The hotel runs a shuttle service hourly from 10:00am to 7:00pm to the centre - but seating is limited and you should book your place if you want to ride on the free shuttle. Taxi fare is 25 - 30 Euro each way. Awesome location with great view over the Med and the harbour. Sure there are plenty of much cheaper stays in Sicily, but not in this class of quality and service. If you want the best, this is it.

The room and room service was very good. The Hotel has the correct culture, give the guest what they desire..ie if they wish to order room service from the restaurant menu, allow them. Room was beautiful, the possible improvement could be to ensure housekeeping staff do not slam doors & talk loudly in the hallways.

Beautiful property with top-notch professionals and most helpful, friendly service at front desk, valet, bellmen, and in restaurants and terrace bar; a gem in Sicily. The rooms and property are gorgeous with every amenity. The food is wonderful and breakfast brunch included. We felt very safe. So grateful we stayed here and highly recommend. We extended our stay at this property an extra night as we took day trips to other parts of Sicily.
